The Atos Boot Camp is a 1-week international online training where you can learn about our leading technologies.
Daily training sessions will review key notions from each technology and present use-case problems for you to solve, testing your analysis of the situation and use of technology. A final quiz will test your understanding of the day’s major.

Friday: Decarbonization
The sessions Monday->Thursday are electives that you can choose depending on your interest, curiosity and knowledge. Decarbonization on Friday is required to validate the training.

Who is this training for?
You're a university student in the digital or technological field.
You already have good knowledge-base in at least one of our technologies.
You are curious and hungry for knowledge.
Then this program is for you!
What are the technical requirements?
There are no strict technical requirements. However, you need to have a good knowledge-base in at least one of our technologies so to understand the mid-level classes.
Different level exercises will be available to adapt to your capacities.
Do I need to participate in all days from this training?
No. You need to participate in a minimum of 2 days in order to receive the certificate of completion.
The first 4 days (from Monday to Thursday) are electives: you can pick and choose which technology you're interested in or want to learn more about.
The last day (Friday) is an essential day and you'll only receive the certificate of completion once you have validated one elective and the Friday major.
If I miss a day, can I access its content the next day?
No, each day's content is only available on the day. So make sure to save the dates in your agenda and attend all the days you are interested in! However, all days’ content will be made available after the week of the training, without the live sessions.
Will I get a certificate to prove I participated in this training?
Yes! After validating at least one elective major and the Friday major, you'll receive your certificate of completion to attest to your participation in this program.
Will participating in this event help me get recruited at Atos?
Participating in the Atos Re-Boot Camp will give you good insights on our company, our projects, our culture and our way of working. It will allow you to learn a lot about the company and decide if you are a match for Atos and if Atos is a match for you.
You will also ave the opportunity to stand out during our live sessions with our experts, during which recruiters will also be present. This will be your chance to shine and make sure they remember you! And of course, you will receive the certificate of completion, which will attest to your dedication to the program. What will the training's format be?
Most of the program will be in pre-recorded video format.
You'll also have access to exercises and quiz to test your knowledge and understanding of the classes.
A few live sessions will take place during the day for you to ask your questions to our experts and interact with our junior employees.
Will I be able to interact live with Atos experts/teams?
Yes! Each day, 3 live sessions (1 per time-zone) are organized to allow you to ask your questions to our experts and discuss that day's technology major. You will also have the opportunity to talk to some of our junior employees who will be there to tell you about their experience at Atos.
Do I need to pay for this program?
No, this program is completely free for all.
Will I be able to take away any documents or file from this event?
Yes, the presentations' PDF version will be made available for you to download on the platform.
If I can’t attend the training on those dates, can I still access it later on?
Yes, the platform will remain open for a full month after the live event. However, please note that certain features will only be available on the actual dates of the event (Live sessions with our experts, interns and graduates, certificate delivery…)

Alper Türken is CommScope’s Senior Vice President for Service Provider, driving sales growth across APAC. In addition, his responsibilities include driving CommScope business globally with Altice, a leading telecoms-media convergence player based in France and US.
Previously, Alper was responsible for growth in the EMEA and Asia region for ARRIS. With an outstanding track record in leading technology businesses, working with highly-specialized large teams and managing partner ecosystems distributed over wide geographies, he has spent nearly 20 years working across United States, Europe, Middle-East, Africa and APAC.
Alper has accumulated years of experience in Hardware/Software Design, Systems Engineering, Sales and go-to-market management; including working with a broad range of technologies including Mobility, Wi-Fi, IPTV, OTT, DOCSIS, FTTH, Broadcast, IoT and Services during his time in ARRIS, Motorola and Nortel.
Alper holds a PhD in Philosophy from Bogazici University in Istanbul and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from METU in Ankara, Turkey.

MORGAN KURK
EVP, Broadband Networks Segment and CTO, CommScope
Morgan Kurk is executive vice president, chief technology officer, and segment leader for Broadband Networks at CommScope.
As CTO, he is responsible for the company technology roadmap and innovation programs. And as segment lead, he oversees the development and delivery of CommScope’s end-to-end product portfolio of CCAP, PON, video systems, access technologies, and fiber, coaxial and copper connectivity solutions serving the telco and cable provider broadband market.
Mr. Kurk has nearly 25 years of experience in the information and communication technology industries. He joined CommScope as senior vice president of the Enterprise business unit, then served as senior vice president and segment leader for the Mobility business, then as CommScope’s CTO, with overall responsibility for the company’s long-term vision and strategic direction, before finally assuming the role of COO.
Mr. Kurk holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Brown University, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Amar is based out of Mumbai, India and leads the Mobility Solutions Technical Sales for Asia Pacific.
He joined CommScope in August 2017 and has previously worked with Ericsson, Reliance Jio, Lucent, Motorola and Department of Telecommunications (Government of India) since 1989. Amar has extensive experience in end to end Wireless Solutions Sales and Business Development, Network Planning and Network Architecture Evolution.
Amar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India and has done Executive Leadership Course from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India.

Farid Firouzbakht is senior vice president and segment leader of the Outdoor Wireless Networks business at CommScope. He’s responsible for overall vision and strategy of the macro and metro cell solutions—including base station antennas, RF filters, tower connectivity, microwave antennas, metro cell and cabinets/steel, accessories, spectrum access system, as well as Comsearch spectrum management products and services.
Previously Mr. Firouzbakht was senior vice president and general manager of RF products for CommScope Mobility Solutions, where he was responsible for a comprehensive portfolio of wireless network solutions.
Mr. Firouzbakht holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

A visionary entrepreneur whose dream is to provide affordable Information and Communications Technology services and solutions through COMCLARK AND NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION, a company he founded in 1996 in partnership initially with Clark Telecoms Inc. (a PLDT subsidiary).
This started the company’s journey to venture into hi-speed broadband services starting with the first ever Data over Cable service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) on the existing Hybrid Fiber CoAxial (HFC) Cable TV Network owned by the family.
From there, the company moved to install, operate and maintain full fiber optic network initially in the Clark Free Port Zone then expanded to Angeles city and other parts of Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija and Metro Manila.
To sustain and complement his vision of one connection nation via an FOC network, Mr. Uy introduced the first Fiber to the Building solution which eventually led to becoming a founding member of FTTH Council (ASIA PACIFIC).
In 2011, Mr. Uy was granted a congressional nationwide franchise to operate as a full TELCO under CONVERGE ICT SOLUTONS, INC. He has also pioneered and introduced MICRO-TRENCHING for FOC installation in the Philippines.

James Andis is responsible for the HFC Technology strategy in nbn (Australia’s National Broadband Network). In this role, he is focused on helping nbn understand and evaluate future & advanced technologies in the HFC industry, and their suitability for incorporating these technologies into nbn’s HFC technology evolution roadmap. He joined nbn 10 years ago, and was responsible for establishing and launching nbn’s layer 2 wholesale service over fibre access (GPON technology), including advanced layer 2 quality of service features which were engineered to meet the broad requirements of both residential and business services in the Australian market.
James has more than 23 years of experience in the communications industry across Fibre, xDSL, and HFC broadband networks and services with expertise in network architecture, engineering and product engineering. Before nbn, James worked in Telstra; Australia’s largest Communications provider, for 13 years – where much of his experience and expertise in these areas was gained.
James studied and graduated from Latrobe University in 1997 (Melbourne Australia) with a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering majoring in Communication systems, and lives in Melbourne.

Kurt Rodgers has over 20 years’ experience in the fixed and mobile broadband industry in Europe and New Zealand. He has a passion for new technology and how it will change and improve our lives. Part engineer, part storyteller, Kurt likes to take the complexity out of emerging technology and explain it in a simple way that everyone understands.
Kurt has held a wide range of technology roles within service provider and vendor organisations, including network planning, architecture, solution consulting and strategy. Over the last decade he has been closely involved in NZ’s Ultra-Fast Broadband programme and works for Chorus as the Network Strategy Manager and Director of the Fibre Lab.

Having worked in Telekom Malaysia (TM) for more than 20 years, Azni’s extensive experience includes developing network strategy, planning, and service design by adopting the right fit technology to enable the business and improving operation efficiency in line with TM’s strategic direction. In her previous role, she had the opportunity to roll out and operate the network at the Northern Region of Peninsula Malaysia. Her recent project focuses on technology strategy and fundamental planning to modernize TM’s network and technology, in order to accelerate the digitization and automation of TM and Malaysia’s networks, in preparation for 5G.
Azni is also an alternate member for both Fibercomm and TMRnD.

DHANANJAYA PONNAMPERUMA

Dhananjaya is the Chief Technology Officer at Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka Limited, the Sri Lankan operation of Hutchison, a Hong Kong based Fortune 500 conglomerate.
He led the Network amalgamation program between Hutch and Etisalat subsequent to the merger, a complex technology project and the first merger of its scale in the country. Whilst merging, he also spearheaded the country-wide 4G expansion which has been recognized as the fastest growing 4G network in the country by international benchmark organizations. Recently under Dhananjaya’s leadership, Hutch embraced 5G by demonstrating the fastest 5G data rates in Sri Lanka.
Prior to joining Hutch, he was the Vice President of Technology Planning at Etisalat Lanka, and have led many strategic projects. Dhananjaya assumed his career as a Radio Network Planning Engineer at Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel and was one of the leading Engineers in the team that paved the way to a successfully launch of world’s 7th and South Asia’s first 3.5G HSPA network in December 2007. He was also responsible in planning the Radio Access Network of South Asia’s first 4G LTE network in 2011.
He shares his expertise through knowledge sharing sessions and workshops, and has made representations as a Speaker in several international forums over the past decade. He has conducted numerous programs for law enforcement authorities, National and International Universities and at corporate forums on a diverse range of topics. He is also an external lecturer for Technology and Management Universities in the country.
Dhananjaya is a Chartered Engineer by profession, and possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1st Class Honors in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from University of Moratuwa. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University Sri Jayewardenepura and is currently reading for his Doctorate in Business Administration.

Darla Braun has over two decades of experience in the in-building wireless business. In her current role, she is responsible for driving and executing distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cell sales and business development initiatives globally for CommScope for enterprises, neutral hosts, and mobile network operators. This includes go-to-market strategies and the establishment of effective partnerships for CommScope’s award-winning DAS and small cell solution portfolio.
Prior to joining CommScope in 2018, Darla was with a leading system integrator of in-building wireless systems for the enterprise market. Other prior experiences include VP of global sales of 28/26 GHz Local Multi-Point Distribution Services (LMDS) solutions. She is based in Richardson, Texas.

Dean Pettigrew is CommScope’s Director of Regional Product Management for Asia Pacific. He is an accomplished Senior telecommunications professional, experienced leader, product manager and program/project manager with an outstanding record of success. He is also responsible for managing a cultural and geographical diverse team of professionals made up of product managers, product specialists and solution architects across the APAC region.
Dean has accumulated a broad range of experience in telecommunications technologies, infrastructure and network construction that include; network cable and passive optical connectivity, FTTx networks, copper connectivity, transmission and access network equipment, long-haul microwave radio and infrastructure, Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC), equipment shelters, active street cabinets, environmental monitoring systems and network management solutions.
Prior to his tenure at CommScope, Dean spent over 15 years at Fujitsu Australia where he performed a wide range of roles including Regulatory Compliance engineer, Transmission Systems Engineer, Network Deployment Project Manager, Project Director

Dena Radiansari

Dena Radiansari is a solution architect for service provider in APAC. Her main role is customer facing; introduction of new technology and new architecture/solution for customer’s network.
Since joining CommScope back in 2008 in Indonesia, Dena held a technical sales role. Moved to Australia in 2013 and provided the technical solutions and network architecture design into Australia’s National Broadband Network. Her role has expanded in early 2019 to support all service provider customers in APAC.
Dena holds a degree in electrical engineering majoring in Telecommunication from Atma Jaya University in Jakarta, Indonesia and is currently based in Melbourne, Australia.

Houman also led the marketing efforts for Nuage Networks, Alcatel-Lucent’s cloud and datacenter networking venture.
Prior to Nokia, he held Product Management and Marketing responsibilities with Hammerhead Systems, 3Com, and Newbridge Networks.

He has held a number of roles for large multi-national organizations, including system engineering, solutions architecture and solution marketing for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G radio technologies; but for a while now, has been dedicated to sales and business development. Based out of Dubai, Femi joined CommScope over 8 years ago and is currently Sales Vice-President of the Commscope Outdoor Wireless Network Portfolio servicing mobile network operators across MEA and APAC.

Kazuyuki has more than 20 years of experience at Softbank. Starting as an engineer of network optimization for regional mobile sites, he moved to HQ in 2004. Kazuyuki now leads a team developing all of 5G RAN-related products, focusing on the mid to long-term strategy of 5G, planning of RAN development, evaluation, and commercial introduction and deployment.

Over the years, Dr. Nilesh has worked in various fields in the industry, from Radio Planning & Engineering, Radio Network Optimization, Performance Management, to Project Management & Network Operations and has worked with OEMs such as Motorola, Nokia, and operators like Telstra, Reliance Infocomm, and Reliance Jio.
